Appointment diary

This chapter describes how to create appointments on the OXFORD EASYBOOK:7 digital diary.

Note : The screens used as examples are extracted from Microsoft Outlook . Although the presentation in Lotus Notes differs somewhat, results will be identical.

  • Creating an appointment in weekly scheduler

  1. Open your EASYBOOK:7 diary on the desired date.
  2. Write the appointment reference on the grid.
  3. Draw a line in the time field from the start time to the finish time. The line can be "shorter" than the appointment reference.
  4. The time field graduation interval is 30 min. The DENOS® program rounds the appointment time off to the nearest half-hour.
  5. Replace the digital pen in its cradle to transmit the data to the PC. Synchronisation starts immediately.
  6. The data is transferred from the pen towards your MS Outlook or Lotus Notes PC diary. The progress bar indicates the progress of the operation.

Note: The first synchronisation may take some time required by the DENOS® to load the necessary components. Subsequent synchronisations will be quicker.
  7. The image of what you have written on the diary captured by the pen is also attached to the appointment created. To view it, double-click on the appointment to display the data.
